I have had severe sinus problems for over 30 years. I am using the NasalAire with a FP CPAP with heated humidity. My sinus dr. told me to use the maximum humidity due to my sinus condition. When I did that (and even when I used anything setting over half of the maximum) I used up all the water sometime during the night. I called Fisher-Paykel and they said that should never happen- that I must have a leak. Had the respiratory therapist at the DME check and she said no leaks. I called Innomed (NasalAire) and they had a local rep contact me. She said that the Nasal Aire creates MUCH more humidity than a mask does and that their studies have shown that I should not turn the heated humidifer to more than 50% of its max. I did that last night and this morning about 25% of the water was still in the tank. Has anyone else had this problem or heard this explanation. SeattleSue- you may want to be aware of this. FYI- I have had no increased sinus problems using the NasalAire.
