I have been on a Respironics Bipap Pro for about a month and found it to work very well. It senses my exhale and we had 3 (I think) settings for the transition -my settings are 13 exhale, 16 inhale... I don't have neuromuscular disease, but maybe this will help... mine are more due to pulmonary hypertension -my heart works too hard on exhaling against the pressure, the Bipap has been great for this -no problems now.
