No, no, no. Aside from it being dangerous not to use CPAP, you will feel like $#|+. I know that ALL the CPAPs with built-in humidifers can be used in Europe with no convertor. In any case, you'll need an adapter for the plug shape in Europe.

The BREAS HA 50 is dual voltage. That will run you just under US$300. If you weigh this against the cost of a runied vacation, it's worth it. The humidifier from the Rem-Star Plus psuedo-builtin will cost about the same. While it is dual voltage, I'm not sure if it can be used a stand-alone humidifier.

Another alternative is to get a transformer, rather than a converter. A transformer is meant for continuous operation, and can run all night. You'll have to contact the manufacturer to make sure that 50hz is ok. It probably is. Use the transformer on the humidifier only, as the CPAP is dual voltage.
