I had posted many times that CPAP is not compatible with combat readiness, and that all service members are expected to combat ready at all times. I said that, therefore you would need to get a medical discharge.
Initially, some people reported that you could stay in the military, but did not directly address my contention. Finally, after I demanded an answer several times, I was told that you really didn't have to worry about power outages, as modern military operations are so dependent on electricity. I was also told that it would be ok on certain deployments, as you stay put in one place for a long time. However, depdpending on your exact assigment, you could have a problem. IF you do, you should be entitled to redeployment eleswhere, perhaps even in a different branch of the service, if newcessary. If not, you should be entitled to a medical discharge.
One last word of caution. If you end up in a combat situation with untrated OSA, you put yourself, your comrades, and your country at risk.
