Humidifiers are very simple devices, not much more sophisticated than a desktop single-mug warmer. I see no reason why you would not plug your 50-60Hz dual voltage into one wall socket and power the humidifier by using a continuously rated 100W transformer plugged into a separate socket to run the humidifier. You expert advisers may not have been aware that the humidifier and BiPAP are not electrically interconnected in any way. Yes, it is a good principle not to mix 60Hz and 50Hz equipment in the same circuit, but in this case the two pieces of equipment are not connected together and neither modifies the other's electrical behavior.
