Recently Diagnosed - Need Advice

I have been recently diagnosed with sleep apnea. Have been trying to use my CPAP machine for about a month without success. Doctor has even prescribed meds to help me sleep and I still can't fall asleep with the mask on. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do? It just feels like I have an alien on my face (so to speak). Appreciate your help and suggestions. Thanks!
