Two years ago,I used my oaises humidifier in Holland and spain with no problems. I also used it in other countries with 220v current over the past four years. The 60 and 50 htz is significant only in rotating machinery and solid state circuits. the humidifier is merely a heater which will not care if it receives 60 or 50 htz(please check with the manufacturer on this point). As for the voltage, I use a simple 500va domestic type transformer to convert the voltage from 220 to 110 volts for both my pap and humidifier . I live in a place where the voltage is 110 and 60htz but it is not in the U.S.A so I do not know where this type of transformer is sold there.
My humidifier and pap still work fine till now.
Good luckSaleh
