got a sleep report, what now?

Posted by john on July 17, 2002 at 15:47:54:

Hey Guys,
I wrote this board a while back because I would often wake early in the morning-- about 6am (sometimes with a sore throat), go back to sleep, and wake up at 9am feeling tired the whole day.

This happened for about two months and then stopped after I started going to sleep at night later and later.

I had mild apnea a year ago and got two sleep studies. Then it went away and I didn't have any problems until this winter with waking up early. Now, I'm okay with sleeping.

I requested and how have the sleep reports. I'm not exactly sure what to do. I'm starting grad school soon-- and would hate to have another sleep problem pop up unexpectedly. I really don't want to get a Cpap as this all appears to be a mild case.

Can anyone on this board interpret the sleep report for me? What should I look for in the report to signify exactly what I had during that summer? Should I just hold onto the reports until my sleeping goes downhill again?

Let me know what you think. Thanks-- John.

P.S., I live in the southwest-- so I don't think the weather had much to do with my condition.
