at home cpap recheck

Posted by Nancy on July 17, 2002 at 17:09:17:

My DME is coming over Friday and giving me an AutoPap (?) with some sort of built in software to check to see if my pressure is correct, or something. I've been using an F&P cpap with a built in humidifer, and the nasal aire, along with a chin strap, for two months now, and am feeling a lot better. Why are they doing this? What's the difference between my cpap and this autopap? Is there anything I need to know to either do or not do?
