I have been on CPAP a 1-1/2 years using an F&P like yours @ 15. I have had some problems recently and talked my doctor into renting an AutoPap for a month rather than doing a full blown sleep study.

It is set for a pressure range of 6 to 18, and will both automatically adjust and record my actual demands for a month. The DME will then provide this data to my sleep doctor.

The machine I got was a brand new Respironics Remstar with humidifier station. The AutoPap slides into the humidifier rather like a laptop PC goes into a docking station - not quite a true built in like the F&P but close enough. I love it. It is so quiet I could not believe it. Unfortunately I will have to surrender it an another two weeks.

This is no big deal. Apparently they are going to monitor what your pressure needs are.
