Second sleep test tonight

Posted by lauralee on July 18, 2002 at 08:25:43:

I am sort of dreading this tonight because the first sleep test was such a bummer and I am still paying payments on it. This test is being done at the hospital and I hope it comes out better. I only slept two hours with the first test and the tech. about ripped my face off with the tape they put the sensors on with. I get night sweats and this time I am taking my small personal electric fan with me instead of lying there and suffering through it. I am not sleeping very well, waking up so often and will be so happy if I can get some relief. If this is the only way to get help I'll do this test again. I have learned so much on this forum that I didn't know before. If I have to go on CPAP I will ask for a combined CPAP and heated humidifier and since there are only two that part should be easy. Then, from what I've read there are so many problems getting masks and hoses that work, that I am going to have to really catch up on here about those solutions. I have a very small face and I hope I can get something to fit right. I am also taking MY pillow with me tonight. :+)
