I suggest you check the insurance booklet, which describes what coverage you have. Also, check the report your doctor received from the sleep study. If you need the equipment and your doctor says it is a medical necessity, the insurance company may be hard pressed to refuse to pay for it. Don't let the insurance rep talk you out of it. Make them put the rejection in writing, then appeal it. They'll probably say "ok" if you show you are not willing to take no for an answer. Good luck.
