It goes over your finger and monitors your pressure while you sleep. I guess they did it this way because I already know I have sleep apnea as I've had 2 tests in the past. Hopefully, this will tell them what pressure my machine needs. I'm not using CPAP now since I lost the insurance I had and the company took the machine back. I will need to purchase another one.
