Chin Straps & Mouth Breathing

Posted by CindySue on July 28, 2002 at 18:20:06:

I have the black neoprene type material chin strap that has a hole in the center for the chin and fastens with velcro. I am also using a small piece of foam insulation tubing to help keep my mouth shut. it is not always effective in keeping me from mouth breathing. I have been looking through the online stores but they don't always show what the straps look like. What types of chin straps are some of you using that you find to be effective? I alternate between Breeze nasal pillows and a Respironics Comfort Classic Nasal Mask. Thanks for any advice you can give.
