Full face masks

Posted by Peter on July 29, 2002 at 01:57:12:

Hi all,

Because I have problems with my nose/sinus, I have tried the first version of ResMeds Mirage full face mask in medium size (they didn't have the second version for testing). The first night was ok, I slept better than "normal" considering the circumstances . The second night was a nightmare.

I have read a lot of the information around about rebuilding the retension system to prevent leakage.

I will return my testmask i a few days, so I don't have neither time nor lust to fool around with the original retension system.

By the way I'm at the same time trying out AutoSet T and it seems to go up in pressure a lot when I notice these major leaks. If that is causing most of the leakage or not is hard to tell because I don't have the software.

Now to my simple question. Are there anybody out there using this mask with the original "headgear" with good results, or is rebuilding "a must" right away?
