I have been on CPAP about a year and one-half. I have had problems recently, so rather than a sleep study my doctor authorized renting the RemSTAR for a month.

It records all events, and the records will provided to my doctor at the end of the test period. The humidifier is not a true built in, but it is close enough. The humifier is a separate unit and the AutoPAP part slides into the humidifer and its base, like a laptop into a docking station. You do not have to separate them to transport in the carry bag.

I love it, it is much quiter than my regular unit.
