Camping & Canadian Tire Eliminato

Posted by rickeyboa on July 29, 2002 at 06:24:06:

I just came back from a camping trip and had purchased Canadian Tire's Eliminator. This is a unit that you use to start cars with dead batteries. It has both battery terminals and a cigarette "type" lighter slot. It is compact and light. It is rated at 18 AMPh and cost CDN$99.00. I have a respironics pro and it is set at 6. I used it for three consecutive nights and used up less than 30% of the battery's capacity. It is the first time ever that my friends, in the adjacent sites, were not upset with my snoring.
