Anyone else experience this?

At the time I was first diagnosed with Apnea, I was able to nap or sleep in the car for short times. Now I have been on bipap for 8 or 9 months (for sleep and naps) and experience extreme difficulty if i accidently fall asleep in a chair on laying on the bed. I wake up gasping within a few minutes. Could the apnea worsen or the dependance on bipap become more of an issue? Settings 20/15 with mirage II full face.
