Made goofs the past 2 nights (eeks)

Night before last somehow the cord where it plugs into the CPAP machine fell out in the night, and I woke up not breathing well. I finally figured out the machine wasn't running, and got it going again (wish that DeVilbiss didn't have that feature where the power cord was detachable).

Last night somehow when I hit the on button for the heated humidifier it didn't turn on. I woke up once real dry, but not making the connection of the heat not on. Then I woke up with nasal cavity blocked off by the uvula. I reached down and picked up the humidifier. Light wasn't on. Turned it on. I have a very swollen uvula this a.m.

I tried John's idea of a sports band (used an knee high stocking instead) and ended up with the hose over the bedpost. That helped a lot.

Now to make sure the cord is ok on the CPAP and the humidifier is really on (it evidently doesn't always turn on when I hit the button and I need to bring it up off the floor to look closer at the light)and get some better sleep.
