According to most scales, you have at least mild sleep apnea, after treatment. It used to be said that an RDI (Combination of apneas and hypopneas)less than 5 was normal. Now it is known that apneas at this level cause an increase in blood pressure in a large number of people.
Knowing what I know about sleep apnea, I would insist on CPAP therapy with your your level of apneas after treatment with oral appliance.
For the record, I have obstructive and central apneas and have been on NPAP therapy over three years, and have been reading this forum for that time period. It works.
