The apnea "profile" is male, over 40, and overweight. Disorder and disease profiling is, in my opinion, not a good thing. I think it causes a great many people to suffer without proper diagnosis when they do not immediately drop into the profile. I am not overweight and know I had apnea since my 20's or before. I had tonsils and adnoids removed when I was 5 due to breathing problems in my sleep.

It sounds like you a canidate for a sleep disorder. Go see a sleep doctor as soon as you can!
