I've had a Remstar LX Plus whispering in my ears for 3 years with no problem. It doesn't do anything fancy - it just does the job of shoving air into my nasal passages. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience by I haven't had any trouble and neither have two of my friends, one of whom has had the same machine for 5 years and the other who has been using the same one for 12 years. I suspect your new one will do fine!
