In order for surgery to work there are 3 phases a person might have to go through.

Do a search on surgeries on sleep apnea and you will find the doctors at Stanford are the best at this but it costs a bit. I had two of the surgeries and my apnea is gone but I have other sleep disorders.

Throat surgery by itself does not work in most cases.
