I hated the whisper swivel valve--it didn't seem to be venting enough carbon dioxide for me. I much prefer the new vent.

Have you tried using the swivel to aim the air flow in a different direction? I keep the hose under the covers with me to reduce rainout (well, in the cooler weather anyway). The air then blows up or to the side. Of course, it gets into my eyes sometimes, but I'm just hard to please!
