I had my sleep study done at Stevens Hospital in Edmonds. Their sleep lab has only been open for not quite a year. I found it to be a positive experience in that they seem to know what they are doing. I had a sleep study done and then a second visit for titration. My 2nd visit was awful. I slept very little and did not get a full titration done. I was not able to tolerate the mask much and when the presure was upped to 8 I woke up and then did not sleep the rest of the night. I will probably eventually need another titration study. My pressure ws upped to 12 by the RT when I was switched from a cpap to a bipap. The 8 was too low. i felt like I was not getting enough air. My Dr. approved this. The company I am using is "Blue Mountain". I have found them to be very responsive and very knowledgeable. The seem to have a mission in life to really help people to successfully treat their sleep apneas.
