Question 8 - What does my AHI mean?

From: Ralph

Good Morning,

On my Remstar Auto M Series, A Flex CPAP my AHI 7 day Av = 1.1 and my AHI 30 day Av = 1.3

What exactly does this mean and are the resulting averages good or bad?

Many thanks

Stan

It appears that you have a low apnea hypopnea index (AHI), an average of about 1 an hour. I do not know the machine, so I could be wrong, but from what I see here the averages number of events per hour look good.

Best wishes and Sweet dreams,

Sandman
