My grandson is soon to be 8 years old and in the second grade. I saw a segment on CNN last night regarding sleep apnea and was surprised to find that they were describing Dalton to a tee. Late in the evening his nose begins to stop up. He's had numerous ear infections resulting in tube placement twice, once in the last year. He snores extremely loud at night and is very tired when he gets up in the morning. He is a very bright child but is having difficulty in school in areas of concentration. He cannot focus on his work at school and this is creating great difficulty for him and my son and daughter in law. He is very restless when trying to be still long enough to complete his homework. He is not diagnosed A.D.D. and is on no medication. The child on the CNN segment had his adnoids and tonsils removed and this corrected his sleep and behavorial problems. It was so weird that I was able to see this segment. We leave our TV on all night and I woke up instantly about 4:00A.M. this morning as soon as the segment was coming on. Do you think it was destiny? I'm not sure if this is similar to information that you are looking for, just thought I'd tell you.
