Hello Ms Garrow,
I know what you are going through and for the parents its terrifying, but as you say yourself, the children don't remember anything about it either when they wake up in the night or the next morning. I came to the realization that it is just a phase that they go through. Its as well to just find out that there is nothing bothering her particularly at school, in the neighborhood etc. My son is scared of his bedroom. But since he has been sleeping in with his sister, he has slept walked a little but not had the night terrors. He had one night alone without her and was fine. So, I think that it is just a phase that will pass. The only way to deal with it is to very calmly put her back to bed and reassure her that everthing is fine. We find it best not to remind our son of the episode the next morning because they only worry about it more.
