4yo waking with leg pains

Well, I was going to write and ask for advice on how to get my son to sleep, but after reading a few postings, it looks as though I am not the only one with this problem. Obviously, there is no one solution. So how about this, my 4yo son wakes up at least 2-3 times a week, complaining that his "legs hurt" sometimes it is even his arms. After giving him some Tylenol and rubbing his legs for about a half and hour, he is ok and back to sleep. But now whenever he wakes up, he automatically asks for medicine! I dont feel right about giving him medicine every night. Has anyone ever experienced this nightly "leg pain" thing? If so, what is the deal with it? Thanks
