These may represent confusional arousals. Confusional arousals are the same sort of problem as sleepwalking or sleep terrors in that they all represent a partial arousal in which the person person is partially awake and partially asleep. If these are confusional arousals, then the best thing to do after checking that she is alright, is to simply leave her alone and she should go back to sleep.
