My son 2 1/2 has been doing this for about 3 weeks. he does have night terrors but we are finally doing much better with that and now its scraming out ever hour- about the same times as your child. I also notice that he began snoring, something he has never done- when I looked in his throat his tonsils were swollen and I noticed a swollen lymph node in his neck that is swollen only at night and in the am but then goes down during the day. I took him to the Dr who put him on antibiotics ( but he had not run a fever). The first antibiotic did no good so now we are on day 2 of Augmentin. Check your childs throat just in case this is contributing to the problem. Good luck
