I have been dealing with night terrors for about a year. Dr Ferber's book will help more than your md most likely. The 2 things that have stopped my child's night terrors are ensuring plenty of sleep (if he misses his nap, the next night he will have one) and I wake him up 30 mmin before his terror usually starts and let him sip water or just make surehe's awake a little then let him go back to sleep. He never had one after this exept a few times when he would have another spell aroud 3-4 am. If I can help any more, please let me know
