congested nose

My child has had the WORST stuffy nose for 3 weeks. He is on Augmentin and Hystex (we tried Rynatan first w/no success). I am getting worried because he sounds sooo bad at night. He snored and won't just give up and breathe through his mouth. Instead he struggles to get air through his nose. Also, his nose has been running (clear) during the day, but not much. What can I do to help him-I've tried a bulb syringe, nasal washouts, etc.
