We have the same scenario, two boys 1 and 2 that are in the same room and when one cries the other wakes up and starts crying. The 1 year old is a great sleeper and goes down around 8:30 and gets up around 8:00 but the other one is down by 9:00-9:30 and up at 6:30-7:00. The two year old screams for mommy or daddy in the middle of the night waking up the other. My wife works some nights and I am wondering if this may be why the kids are not sleeping. Maybe they get confused. One thing I have started is to read a book to the 2 yr old every night and let him know that he is going in his bed after the book. This seems to have worked well but he still gets up. I guess we need some good advice as well. VERY TIRED TODAY!!!
