8 yr. old not sleeping

I have an 8 yr. old girl. She takes from 3-5 hours to fall asleep.. I've tried everything. warm milk, massages, reading, listening to music..ect..no luck.. this started about 1 month ago and i'm going crazy.. she has been to the doctor that was no help...at the moment she is going to the school counsellor...i think she is so scared she can't fall asleep that she is keeping herself awake worrying about it..i need help
