Many things can cause her to have trouble falling asleep including difficulty breathing when asleep. So if she snores, makes noises while sleeping or moves around a lot while asleep, she could have a sleeping disorder.

I would talk to a sleep specialist in your area. To find one click on the Links button at the top of the forum and then click Sleep Labs. Choose the first link at the top, choose your state and the clinics are listed by city.
