This sounds EXACTLY like my 9 year old son! He lies awake every school night and then when he can't get to sleep he comes in and wakes me up to tell me, sometimes 3-5 times a night. We've tried everything also, and nothing has worked. I think he's just so worried about having to get to sleep for school that the anxiety is keeping him awake. All I know is that this is getting very difficult to live with. I've talked to a school psychologist about it and all he told me is "oh relax, he'll outgrow it." True maybe, but that doesn't help us right now.
