my child did similar things, with the irritability a real problem. found out he couln't breathe through his nose at night due to allergies, but this can be because of a sinus infection. Dark circles? watch your child at night and in the day, notice if the mouth is open. Snoring? If your pediatrician doesn't help and you were concerned enough to get on sleepnet, get a second opinion. My child is a happy child who sleeps well now, but it was a long road-well worth it.
