sleep disorders can cause ADD, I know simply because I lived it, to a severe degree in a 2 year old. I would have even diagnosed (If I were a doctor) my son oppositional defiant at times, pathologically shy at times etc. Taking care of the sleep problem took care of the rest. Thank God for sleep docs
