co-sleeping is healthy

Posted by luciec on May 25, 2001 at 10:17:23:

Most of the sleep challenges folks are having with their kids will be gone in a second when they learn about the family bed. It is somewhat rare in society in our "modern age" but it is healthy and natural for kids to sleep with their parents or siblings. Does it really make sense to put a little kid, or tiny baby all alone for the whole night just because lots of other people do it?? Of course they want to sleep with the other members of the family! There are books written on just this subject. Please read them and go with your instinct. And pass the word along to others. Join the growing number of families who know how well co-sleeping works, promotes peace, stability, and sleep! "The Family Bed" is an excellent book. There are many others.
