Monica, Thank you thank you for sharing your info!
Like I mentioned in prev post, I've started napping him again and his night wakenings have
greatly diminished. But, this has also happened when I tried this in the past! Once he adjusts to napping again, he'll be up sobbing at night again. He does have a tendency to sleep with his mouth wide open and having been watching him more closely lately, have noticed he's doing it more during the day than I originally thought. He does have allergies, although allergist wants to wait until he's a bit older to test.

It's like calling a repair man to fix an appliance when it's broken and then when they finally get there, it starts working again! That's how I feel about his sleeping situation. He's only been up sobbing/confused 2 x in the past 4 or 5 days, which is good for him.

I get pretty worked up about this subject as well. My husband is so tired of me always commenting that his behavior is related to his fatigue. But, I am a stay at home mom and can see him spiral downward as the morning goes on. You can tell when a child is getting that wild, belligerent behavior that's specific to being TIRED!

So, tomorrow morning we have our consultation with the sleep doc, so hopefully will have a better
understanding of his situation.

Again, many thanks for your time and for sharing your experience with me!

THANK YOU!
