Hooray for you. Get a sleep study, they really may be able to pinpoint the problem and all of you will feel better. My son had insomnia pretty bad at 26 months and I learned it was due to a sleep-related breathing problem. Don't put him on sleepers, which they tried to do at first, find out what is wrong. insomnia is a symptom of something, even though it may be a minor problem causing it. that's my opinion after having been through a really rough time. good luck
