I am experiencing the same problem now with my sons and they are only 13mths old and they are twins...so there is two of them!!!! I do not think that "habit" is a word that should be used.. I do agree that eventually he will have to learn to go to sleep on his own, however I do not agree with letting a child scream and cry themselves to sleep. I know this is not the way I would want to fall asleep... I am also looking for a way to teach my sons to fall asleep on their own, I do not want to let them cry themselves to sleep though, I just don't think it's right....
