Thanks for the info. The medicine she was given for ADHD didn't seem to make any difference during this past school year. I was told by her dr. not to give it to her anymore. The dr. also believed it may be a sleeping problem. You can put her to bed at 8:30 and she's still awake and hour or so later. I was told to start giving her benadryl at night for awhile. This was to get her body use to going to sleep when she laid down for bed. After a time, I'm to wein her off of it and supposedly her body will be accustomed to going to sleep when she lays down for the night. I have had her seen by an ENT dr. She had her adenoids removed when she was 2. Her tonsils are still in, but there is not problem with them. I've never really heard her snore, either. I believe like the ped. that she is just not getting enough rest. Any additional info or suggestions someone can give me would be greatly appreciated!!
