Thank you, Grace, for your advice! I did not let her cry today for nap or bedtime and both were so much more peaceful. Allowing her to cry did not feel right, but so many books tell you that meeting the demands will only reinforce the behavior. My first child had a totally different temperament. I am still learning how to handle a strong-willed child. As with everything- I'm sure that love, patience, and understanding will be the answer. The prayer is probably what helped the most-especially for an impatient mommy. Thanks again!
