You hit the nail on the head grandma- anything that arouses the kids at a certain stage can cause a night terror in my opinion wether it is you sneezing or his breathing. Here's my thought though, if he can ever get really good sleep he'll spend less time (but more good quality time) in the stages of sleep that he needs and your sneezes will be less likely to get him in that bad stage that he keeps trying to get into. T&A is not a cure all. It stopped night terrors in my daughter (but she also quit mouth breathing after the surgery) but it did not in my son (he was still mouth breathing)sooo I had to figure out what the problem was and it seems that it was a chronic sinus infection. When I clear that up (which isn't always easy) life is much better for him and me. He has not had a night terror in a long time now except when he got sick with the stomach virus!
