sleep walking

Posted by kira on August 19, 2002 at 14:18:59:

hi my friends seven year old regulary sleep walks during the night. So far it results in her being found in the bathroom or going into other peoples bedrooms in the house. She nevers has any memory of it and if she wakes up in a different bed she is very confused. We are concerned about her falling downstairs whilst walking, is there anything that can be done and what are the main causes of this and also is it true you shouldn't awake them whilst walking.

thanks
