I don't have much advice if it's behavioural. Just a note to wonder why she is waking at night. It may be that being no longer in a crib, she can get out when she wakes. But is the waking 3-4 times during the night new? The irritiability and 'ratty'-ness would be due to tiredness and sleep-deprivation because she's up several times. Behaviourally, she is old enough to learn that even if she wakes, she must stay in bed (be sure she is awake and not sleep-walking). But perhaps also mention this to her pediatrician. Children's obstructive breathing, Restless leg syndrom and allergies/asthma can all contribute to sleep-problems, multiple arousals, and sleep-deprivation in children and usually requires some support or treatment.
