Glad I was able to help. They can certainly tell if the adnoids, tonsils or both are enlarged and 99% of the time this is causing the obstruction which in turn causes the snoring. Many years ago, it was common practice to remove adnoids and tonsils in young children. Then the medical field changed their opinion about removing them & now I have read where they believe the change is directly related to the Apnea problem being found in so many people.
Glad you made the appointment and I strongly suggest you insist on a specialist in the field for a second opinion unless he agree's with you.
