My son is five and has had a sleep disorder for three years. At first we thought he was(is) ADHD, since he exhibits practically all the symptoms. After two years of extensive research and seeing specialist (about the sleep), we now believe the two are related. He just had his tonsils and adenoids out last week. The sleeping hasn't improved yet, he had fallen into a pattern of anxiety. I think this is also because of chronic sleep dep. I am going to give it a few weeks to see if the surgery help his sleep and/or his ADHD symptoms. Will keep you posted.
